1. About Rae Therapy Group

Rae Therapy Group is a fictitious business name (DBA) of Bonnie Rae Psychotherapy, Inc., a California corporation. Throughout these Terms of Service, “Rae Therapy Group,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bonnie Rae Psychotherapy, Inc.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of raetherapygroup.com (the “Website”), including the information, features, resources, and services made available through it.

By accessing, browsing, or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

If you access or use the Website on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides information about Rae Therapy Group, our clinicians, psychotherapy and related services, therapeutic approaches, educational resources, and other offerings.

Content on the Website is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It is not intended to diagnose, evaluate, or treat any mental health or medical condition and should not be considered individualized psychological, medical, or other professional advice.

The Website is not a substitute for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Although we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information, we do not guarantee that all Website content will be complete, current, error-free, or appropriate for your individual circumstances. Your use of and reliance upon Website information is at your own discretion and risk.

3. No Therapist-Client Relationship

Accessing the Website, reading its content, submitting an inquiry, contacting Rae Therapy Group through the Website, or otherwise interacting with the Website does not, by itself, create a therapist-client relationship between you and Rae Therapy Group, Bonnie Rae Psychotherapy, Inc., or any clinician affiliated with the practice.

A therapist-client relationship is established only after the appropriate intake, informed-consent, and clinical processes have occurred and the prospective client and treating clinician have mutually agreed to enter into a therapeutic relationship.

Communications submitted through the Website should not be considered confidential clinical communications or used to communicate urgent or highly sensitive information unless you have specifically been informed that a particular method of communication is appropriate for that purpose.

4. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

The Website is not designed or monitored as an emergency or crisis service.

Do not use Website forms, email, or other Website communications to seek assistance for an urgent medical or psychiatric situation.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, are in immediate danger, or require immediate assistance, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency services in your area.

5. Clinicians, Inquiries, and Referrals

The Website may provide information about clinicians affiliated with Rae Therapy Group. We may also use information provided by prospective clients to help identify a clinician whose areas of practice, experience, availability, or other characteristics appear potentially consistent with the prospective client’s needs.

Any such recommendation or matching assistance is informational and does not guarantee that a particular clinician will be appropriate for you, available to treat you, or able to provide the services you seek.

You are ultimately responsible for determining whether a particular clinician or service is appropriate for your needs.

When Rae Therapy Group provides information about or a referral to a professional outside of the practice, we do not guarantee the quality, availability, appropriateness, effectiveness, or outcome of services provided by that outside professional.

6. Educational Content, Programs, and Workshops

Rae Therapy Group may from time to time offer workshops, trainings, educational programs, groups, digital materials, or other educational resources through or in connection with the Website.

Unless an offering is expressly identified as a clinical service, participation in a workshop, training, program, or other educational offering does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Rae Therapy Group or any clinician affiliated with the practice.

Educational offerings and materials are intended for general educational purposes and are not substitutes for individualized mental health treatment, assessment, diagnosis, or professional advice.

Specific offerings may be subject to additional terms regarding registration, eligibility, payment, cancellations, refunds, confidentiality, participation, intellectual property, or use of program materials. Any additional terms presented in connection with an offering will also apply to your participation in that offering.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its original content, including text, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, educational materials, downloadable materials, and other content created for Rae Therapy Group, are owned by or licensed to Bonnie Rae Psychotherapy, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Website content is provided for your personal, noncommercial use unless we expressly state otherwise.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit our proprietary Website content without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Rae Therapy Group’s intellectual property to you.

8. Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree not to use the Website in a manner that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of another person, interferes with the operation or security of the Website, attempts to gain unauthorized access to Website systems, or uses the Website for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the Website or particular Website features when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, Rae Therapy Group, its users, or others.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to websites, resources, platforms, or services operated by third parties. These may include scheduling, social media, mapping, review, payment, educational, or other services.

Third-party websites and services are not controlled by Rae Therapy Group. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, policies, or terms.

When you leave our Website or interact directly with a third-party service, your activity is governed by that third party’s terms and privacy practices.

Your decision to access, provide information to, or otherwise interact with a third-party website or service is at your own discretion.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of the Website may involve the collection or processing of certain personal information, including information you voluntarily provide through Website forms or other communications.

Our collection, use, and handling of personal information are further described in our applicable privacy notices and Privacy Policy.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information.

Privacy-related requests may be submitted to Bonnie@raetherapygroup.com. We will process applicable verified requests as required by law.

The collection and use of information through these technologies are subject to our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the privacy practices of the applicable third-party provider.

Where required by applicable law, Website visitors will be provided with appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies and similar technologies.

12. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have certain rights regarding personal information under applicable California privacy laws.

The rights available to a particular individual depend upon the law involved, whether that law applies to Rae Therapy Group, and the nature and circumstances of the information involved.

Where applicable, these rights may include requesting access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, as well as other rights provided by California law.

Rae Therapy Group will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a privacy request, contact Bonnie@raetherapygroup.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity or authority to make the request before responding and will process applicable requests within the time required by law.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information under our control.

However, no website, electronic communication, information system, or method of Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security or that unauthorized third parties will never circumvent security measures.

If a data-security incident occurs, Rae Therapy Group will provide notices as required by applicable law.

14. Website Availability and Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or that all information appearing on the Website will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.

References on the Website to therapeutic approaches, resources, products, services, organizations, or other information do not constitute a promise or guarantee that a particular treatment, service, resource, or approach will be appropriate or effective for any particular individual.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, right, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rae Therapy Group, Bonnie Rae Psychotherapy, Inc., and their affiliated clinicians, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for damages or losses arising solely from reliance on general informational or educational Website content or from your use of third-party websites or services outside of our control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any professional obligations that apply to services provided within an established therapist-client relationship.

16. Changes to the Website or These Terms

We may modify the Website, its content, features, or these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements.

When these Terms are revised, we may post the updated version on the Website and update the “Last Updated” date above. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue your use of the Website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

19. Entire Agreement Regarding Website Use

These Terms, together with any policies or additional terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and Rae Therapy Group concerning your use of the Website.

Separate agreements, informed-consent documents, notices, or policies may govern psychotherapy, workshops, programs, or other services provided by Rae Therapy Group. Good Faith Estimate Notice

Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or who choose not to use their health insurance to pay for health care services have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (“GFE”) of the expected charges for scheduled services.

Rae Therapy Group will provide a Good Faith Estimate to eligible uninsured or self-pay clients when required by applicable law, including when services are scheduled in advance or when an estimate is requested. The estimate will identify the expected charges for the services that are reasonably expected to be provided.

If you are uninsured or are choosing not to use your insurance for services, you may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling care or at any time during your treatment. Please contact your Rae Therapy Group therapist if you would like to request an estimate.

If you receive a bill from Rae Therapy Group that is at least $400 more than the amount listed in your Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution process to dispute the bill. Eligibility requirements apply, including requirements concerning the timing of the estimate and dispute.

If eligible, you generally must initiate the dispute process within 120 calendar days of receiving the initial bill. The federal dispute process currently requires a $25 administrative fee.

For additional information regarding your rights under the No Surprises Act, including Good Faith Estimates and the Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution process, please visit the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) website or contact Rae Therapy Group.
