Jocelyn

Hi, I’m Jocelyn Turner

I work with adults, couples, and teens who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns they are stuck in. Many of the clients I support find themselves caught in cycles of anxiety, conflict, people-pleasing, or self-doubt, feeling either overwhelmed or disconnected from their emotions.

My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a belief that our struggles make sense within the context of our lived experiences. I’m an LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse affirming psychotherapist, providing trauma informed and culturally sensitive care. I integrate IFS/parts work, ISTDP, psychodynamic, and attachment-based frameworks to help clients build insight, understand the protective strategies they have developed, and safely access the emotions beneath them in an environment of warmth and attunement. This often results in decreased anxiety, decreased somatic symptoms, and profound intimacy with the self and others.

As a parent of two, I have a special appreciation for the complexities of raising children and enjoy supporting parents as they navigate the challenges of family life. I am passionate about helping clients find relief from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, identity related challenges, and life transitions. I have particular experience working with creatives and those navigating the unique demands of the entertainment industry.

It is courageous and vulnerable to take the first step toward seeking help. It would be an honor to join you on your journey.
